As T&T International went to press, a spokesman for London Underground Limited revealed that no definite date could be provided for the opening of LUL’s second stage Jubilee Line Extension between North Greenwich and Waterloo. The original opening date was late summer. Tests are still being carried out by the Railway Inspectorate and, although these are said to be running smoothly, the line was said to be still ‘some weeks from opening’.
