UK consultancy Mott MacDonald has teamed up with project management company Osprey PMI (formerly part of the Franklin + Andrews Group), to form Osprey Mott MacDonald, a specialist project management consultancy.
The new company aims to draw on Mott MacDonald’s international reach and design strengths, and Osprey PMI’s project management expertise, to service the building, transport, public, industry and technology sectors. Osprey Mott MacDonald’s core business will cover all aspects of project management from initial concept and planning, through construction, to operation of the built facility.
“With more and more of our customers the world over wanting to buy complete solutions, our two organisations have come together to provide exactly that – a total delivery service encompassing all facets of planning, design, and management on a global basis,” Derek Fryer, chairman of Osprey Mott MacDonald, said.
Current transport projects include the Bangkok metro, Kings Cross Hub programme and BAA Terminal 5.
Franklin + Andrews Group merged with Mott MacDonald in May 2002. Osprey Project Management Ltd acquired PMI in October 2001 to form Osprey PMI. PMI was one of the first project management companies in the UK.
