Dutch contractor, Heijmans NV, reported a turnover of US$2.64bn for 2002, an increase of 6% compared to 2001. Net earnings were also up by 25% to US$96.7M. A promising orderbook at the end of 2002 was claimed to be worth more than US$2.54bn, compared to US$2.21bn at the end of 2001. Heijman’s long-term aim is to grow turnover to US$5.5bn by 2006 – US$1.1bn from overseas.
