The launch pit will be a length of 400ft (122m), with a width and depth of 80ft (24m). The 57.5ft (17.5m) diameter machine will enter the earth through the hole being dug in the construction area just west of Seattle’s stadiums. The TBM is expected to begin digging in the summer of 2013.
