Production is due to commence in September 2015 and will run for 62 weeks, with final delivery anticipated in December 2017.

The Shieldhall Tunnel in Glasgow is the largest wastewater tunnel in Scotland. It will transfer waste water, provide storage in heavy rainfall and will be excavated by a Herrenknecht TBM.

Scottish Water awarded Costain/VINCI JV the contract to build the 5km tunnel which is 4.56m in diameter.
