Betacom will remain Schréder’s appointed distributor for the eastern States of Australia and New Zealand.
Dieter Poleyn, Schréder’s regional director for India, the Middle East, Africa and Australia said: "We have been active in this market for a while. Now is the right time to directly enter by opening our own Schréder company, bringing us closer to the growing customer base.
A spokesman added: "Schréder lighting solutions can already be found on the the Westlink M7 in Sydney, in the Eastlink tunnels in Melbourne, the West Coast Highway walkway in the City of Stirling."
