With 25% more power and better performance than the preceding 800 model, the latest machine comes in two variants: the standard Brokk 900 – said to have ‘the most powerful breaker ever put on a demolition robot’ – and the Brokk 900 Rotoboom with its high-precision rotating boom system.
Brokk says it has reinforced the design and engineering of the 900, increased its power and made its operation more precise. And all achieved, the company says, with almost no increase in size or weight.
Behind the increased power output is SmartPower technology which is designed to improve the powertrain. At the same time, reliability and machine uptime meet industry benchmarks for demolition robots.
The standard 900 model comes with the option of two different hydraulic breakers, both more powerful than the 800; while the 900 Rotoboom is designed for flexibility in applications where access and precision are more important than power.
Both models come with the option of an electric or diesel powertrain and will be available around the end of June 2021.
