This year’s event will feature around 140 exhibitors, a conference programme comprising 20 technical sessions, as well as short courses. It is expected to attract 1,000 attendees.
The technical sessions are built around four headings – case histories, design, planning and technology. The topics include TBM performances and challenges; tunnel lining; underground project delivery; construction innovation; design of underground spaces; rehabilitation/fire life safety; TBM technology; SEM/NATM excavation techniques; challenging design issues; underground project risk; future projects; numerical modelling and digital technology.
This year’s one-day short courses include Big Data in Tunneling, and Support of Excavation Design and Performance.
