Black Diamond Cutters are a range of hard rock and EPB disc cutters designed and manufactured in Australia for the international tunnelling and mining industries. Black Diamond Cutters are available in a wide range of sizes ranging from 355mm (14”) up to 483mm (19”).
Black Diamond Cutters incorporate the latest bearing and sealing technology and are manufactured using state-of-the-art metallurgy and heat treatment processes. Black Diamond Cutters’ unique design, which incorporates a single multi-rowed tapered bearing, coupled with a heavy duty sealing system, is claimed to offer significant benefits over current cutter designs available on the market today.
The assembly procedure negates many of the problems associated with pre-loading of bearings and calibration of bearing spacers, which in turn dramatically reduces the man-hours required during the cutter disassembly and/or assembly. The results are further cost reductions to the end user.
