In addition to its main activities – muck haulage, logistics equipment and rock recycling plants for the production of concrete aggregates – Marti Technik not only provides tunnel formworks, including invert shutters, deck shutters, vault shutters, false ceiling shutters, partition shutters and full round shutters, but also precast concrete segment moulds.
At the 4,950m Islisberg tunnel on the west N4 road bypass in Zurich, Marti Technik supplied a range of shutters including four 9.5m diameter vaults, 10 ceiling formworks and all the features.
Marti Technik also designed, planned and produced three sets of five segment moulds, featuring a 5.8m outer radius, 2m in length and 300mm to 600mm thick. They are convertible to be used both for the left or right-hand side.
