The BTS is looking for students with academic ability (and a relevant first degree) who demonstrate an interest in tunnelling and wish to support the activities of the BTS. In addition to leadership potential, applicants should have ambition, drive and an aptitude for teamwork.
The bursary is intended to cover course fees, with the balance contributing toward living expenses. If a situation arises where there is not a single clear winner, the £20,000 will be divided between two or more deserving candidates.
To be eligible, applicants must satisfy the following criteria:
• Must be a UK permanent resident.
• Must have applied to join the MSc starting October 2021 at Warwick University and have been accepted and enrolled onto the course prior to it starting. ?
• Hold a relevant engineering, geology or mining-based degree from a recognised institution.
• Must not be in receipt of a bursary or financial award from another source.
