In his new role Thomas will be in charge of setting strategies for Minova's tunnelling products, introducing products to clients and general business development.
A spokesperson for Minova said: “Thomas brings a wealth of expertise on all types of tunnels from segmental linings to immersed tube tunnels. He has been involved in many major projects worldwide such as Crossrail in London.
“He is particularly well known in the field of Sprayed Concrete Lined (SCL) tunnels, having written a book on the subject and he is an active member of ITA WG 12.
Michael Napoletano, vice president and general manager for Minova’s EMEA-CIS region added: “I am delighted that Alun has chosen to join us. He will significantly strengthen Minova's tunnelling sector activities in Europe – as well as globally.”
