Construction of the Vorotan water supply tunnel in Armenia is on course for a 2003 completion. 145m of the tunnel has been built in the last four months with some 490m left to be constructed. When open the tunnel will supply the Ararat valley with 100Mm³ of water a day from Lake Sevan.
