Queen’s University in Ontario, Canada, in association with blasting consultants Instantel, has announced a one week blasting course from 18 to 22 October this year. The course will focus on “Optimisation of Blasting Operations”.
Topics include: fragmentation by blasting; blasting theory; explosives technology for blasting professionals; vibration and air blast; instrumentation for blast optimisation. The course will encompass underground, construction and open pit blasting.
