The developments will double the size of the airport and it is expected that it will enable the airport to accept 20M passengers 15 years from now ‹ up from the 12.8M people now handled by the facility annually.
The news reported added that the construction will not set back the scheduled opening of the 4,500m runway and the 183,500sqm international concourse for May 2014 and October 2015 respectively.
