German grout specialist for the mining and tunnelling industry, CarboTech Fosroc GmbH has taken over fellow German company Hebben und Fischbach Chemietechnik GmbH.
CarboTech Fosroc produces and markets synthetic resins for stabilising, grouting and sealing above and below ground presenting itself also as a technical service provider. Hebben und Fischbach is a specialist in trading with such grouting materials and as such the move looks set to strengthen CarboTech Fosroc’s market in the domestic and international tunnelling industry
Managing director, Oliver Schwartz said, "This prepares us for new developments and areas of work in tunnel construction and special civil engineering." Following the take-over the company will have an estimated turnover of $55M.
