Dutch contractor, Heijmans NV, has finalised the acquisition of Dutch company Stork Infratechniek – a tunnel installation specialist – for an undisclosed cash sum. The acquisition is intended to enhance the market position of the Heijmans’ Infrastructure and Environment division through the expansion of adjacent market sectors, and improving the geographic spread of its activities. Stork Infratechniek has a staff of 355 and turnover of approximately US$50M. For now, the company will remain active on the market under the name Heijmans Stork Infratechniek.
