This year’s SIFER, the International Exhibition of Railway, will include a dedicated tunnelling area.

The new feature will present the latest innovations in the construction and equipment of tunnels.

This year’s SIFER – the 14th edition – will take place in Lille from June 24-26.

Held every two years since 1999, SIFER brings together the entire rail ecosystem under one roof: rolling stock manufacturers, railway operators, infrastructure developers, technology providers, equipment suppliers, engineering firms, maintenance specialists, regulatory bodies, research institutions, and industry innovators.

The 2023 show welcomed a record of over 7,000 visitors to Lille Grand Palais. This year more than 300 exhibitors from 14 countries – including around 100 newcomers – will showcase their latest innovations.

The exhibition will feature indoor tracks, where vehicles and rail equipment can be viewed in live operating conditions; an Innovation Hub for start-ups; FIF Village – co-organised with the French Railway Industry Association (FIF), featuring member companies and a dedicated forum space; international B2B meetings; and a programme of conferences and technical seminars.
