Hatch Mott MacDonald, the US JV of UK consultants Mott MacDonald, has replaced US consultant Parsons Brinckerhoff as construction manager on the Badlands Tunnel scheme in California. The Badlands Tunnel is one of three tunnels on the California Inland Feeder Water project. Hatch Mott MacDonald was already acting as construction manager for the other two tunnels and it is believed that the client, the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, wanted to consolidate the management of the entire project.
