A 45km long transfer tunnel is being planned as part of a Malaysian government works department water supply scheme in Selangor. The tunnel, carrying 2100M litres of raw water a day, would be built through the Titiwangsa mountain range and link Pahang to Selangor. No development costs have been revealed, nor any construction timetable. An environmental impact assessment has been prepared by JV MAB Environmental Consultants/, Nippon Koei/SMBH.
