In addition to construction work on Unioninkatu in the Telakkaranta development area, the project comprises a new traffic tunnel and municipal engineering for the area. The tunnel is to be completed on 15 July 2013 and the completion of the entire project is set for 15 October 2013.
Lemminkäinen stated that work will commence immediately. Located in a central part of Turku, the site is subject to strict noise control criteria.
