Westward from Penn Station to the Javits Convention Center to revitalise the west-side of Manhattan, connect services of the west-side ferry terminal directly to the City’s public transit system and prepare the City for its bid to host the 2012 Summer Olympic Games. Request for qualifications (RFQ) proposals to undertake the project’s environmental impact study (EIS) were due with the MTA – New York City Transit Authority on May 1.
