Earlier this year, Tom Szaraz, project manager at McNally, told T&TNA: "We are facing many time constraints. When the TBM is ready to launch in June we’ll have approximately 15 months of mining ahead of us."
The tunnel is the first in a series of storage tunnels being constructed as a part of Project Clean Lake, the Sewer District’s 25 year, USD 3bn programme to cut the amount of combined sewage entering local waterways annually.
