Contractors have until 5 October 2004 to register their interest in carrying out test boring work in Germany for the largest environmental engineering project in the European Union, the Emscher Sewer.
This 51km long sewer from Dortmund to Dinslaken will be built at depths between 10m and 40m below the surface. The sewer is planned to be built from 2006 to 2014 and the boring works are crucial for finalising designs.
