Kawasaki Heavy Industries has won an order from Taisei Corporation for four TBMs that will be used to excavate part of Singapore’s Circle metro line. Taisei Corporation was awarded the US$230M contract by the Land Transport Authority to excavate the running tunnels and construct Thomson, Adam, Farrer and Bukit Brown stations. The TBMs are scheduled for delivery between April and June 2005.
