Sweden’s NCC will build a 2.5km long tunnel as part of a 13km long highway that will be constructed under a $21.8M contract it won from the Norwegian Road Administration in Akershus. The two lane road will connect Lunner and Gardermoen airport, about 50km from Oslo. Work on the highway has started and includes nine bridges and two concrete culverts. Construction of the scheme is scheduled to be completed in July 2003.
