Twin 250m long tunnels are being proposed by Transit NZ as part of a US$198M extension to the Northern Motorway extension between Orewa and Puhoi near Auckland, New Zealand. The 7.5km long extension is likely to become New Zealand’s first tolled highway. Construction could start this year or early next year.
