Next month T&TI’s deputy editor, Amanda Foley, will be jumping out of a plane and plummeting 5000ft towards the earth (at speeds of over 120mph!!) all in the name of charity.

The 10,000ft freefall jump is in aid of the Anthony Nolan (Leap for Life) Challenge. “The Anthony Nolan Trust is an amazing charity that helps saves lives from Leukaemia, by recruiting and matching bone marrow donors, as well as undertaking research to help improve the outcome of transplants,” explains Amanda. “I’m guessing that if I raise enough money they may even give me a parachute… (please don’t take that as incentive not to sponsor me!)”

Amanda will be paying the cost of the actual parachute jump herself, but hopes to raise as much money as possible for this very worthy cause, she is therefore asking you or your company to dig deep (!!) and sponsor her online now! (see link below)

Donating online is simple, fast and totally secure. The Anthony Nolan Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

We will let you know how it all goes in a forthcoming issue!
