Japan is to give a further US$60M to help fund the Kohat tunnel in Pakistan’s North West Frontier Province, finance minister, Shaukat Aziz, announced last month.
Japan’s finance minister, Junichiro Koizumi, made the commitment in a recent visit to the United States, where he met the president of Pakistan, General Pervez Musharraf.
