Bouygues, in partnership with Shanghai Tunnel Engineering, has started tunnelling on a 9km tunnel linking Shanghai’s Pudong district with Changxing Island in eastern China. The project is part of a 25km tunnel and bridge link spanning the Yangtze river. The highway tunnel comprises two parallel drives.
